A native <select>, not a custom popover. 48px tall, padding 4px 40px 4px 8px to clear the chevron, which is 12px at right 16px and turns --blue-1 on focus-within. Hover fills --gray-7 — not --blue-3, which is Input's hover. A status icon sits 12px at left 16px and adds 40px of left padding; with useCheckMark it is an outline circle that becomes a --green-1 check circle once a value is set. An end adornment sits at right 32px, clear of the chevron, and is not interactive. Disabled greys select, label and chevron to --gray-5 together and suppresses helper text entirely — index.tsx renders it only when the field is not disabled. Input differs here: it always shows helper text, disabled or not. The disabled cell above is passed the same error and helperText as the error cell to show it. Error turns label, chevron and border --red-1.
Select writes two values literally where Input uses tokens: the label is 14px rather than var(--input-font-size), and the field is 16px stepping to 14px at 768px rather than var(--input-font-size-mobile) / var(--input-font-size). The rendered result matches Input today because the tokens hold those same values — but a dealer or a token change would move Input and leave Select behind. Mirrored as-is because the code wins; worth fixing upstream.
Dealer-controlled: --form-input-border-radius (7px on Space sites). --form-input-placeholder-text-color does not reach a native select's hidden placeholder option, so it has no effect here.
