Hover fills --blue-3; focus and active move the border to --input-focus-color and the label to --primary-accent; error holds red-1 on both even while focused. Disabled turns text and border --gray-5 and the label --gray-4. A start adornment is 12px at left 16px and adds 40px of left padding; an end adornment sits at right 8px and adds 40px of right padding. Helper text is the only thing outside the field: body6 in --red-1, exactly as index.tsx renders it through Typography, with no layout style of its own.

Dealer-controlled: --form-input-border-radius (7px on Space sites, 0px in the row above) and --form-input-placeholder-text-color (#c9c9c9). Note that --input-placeholder-text-color is declared in App.module.pcss but Input's own stylesheet never consumes it; this twin applies it to ::placeholder, which is the evident intent. The 16px→14px font-size step is not dealer-controlled and should not be removed.
